David Hart, M.S. is Director of Open Source Projects at

and Principal Consultant at

Atlantis Blue is a member of Open Source Industry Australia (OSIA) and
a partner of the Artificial General Intelligence Research Institute
(AGIRI).
David earned a MS in Environmental Science and has a long-term interest
in environment, sustainability, and earth science issues.
David leverages over ten years of applied information technology and
business management experience. His strengths include evaluating,
choosing and implementing the most appropriate technology for a given
problem, delivered on time and on budget. His specialty is building
and maintaining stable, robust, scalable systems, including in-place
upgrades where staff and resources remain fully
operational.
David has extensive technical background in computer networking,
systems administration, data storage and data security. He has
administered multi-million dollar IT budgets and delivered technology
including information systems infrastructure and software applications
for security, finance, customer relationship management, and software
engineering.
His applied business management skills cover broad operational
areas including general management, information and communications
technology management, data center management, network security
management (LAN, WAN and WLAN), technical support call center
management, telecommunications management, facilities management,
physical security management, procurement management, supplier &
utility provider management, power systems management, environmental
sustainability and compliance management, and personnel management of
groups of skilled technical and knowledge workers.
David has held technical and managerial roles in numerous publicly
listed companies, including “Manager, Information and Communications
Technology” at OpenTV Inc. (NASDAQ: OPTV), the world’s leading
interactive television solutions provider.
David earned his BA in Chemistry at
Hope College in 1994 and his MS in Environmental Science at the
University of Sydney in 2002. He
lives and work in Sydney, Australia, and travel regularly. He holds US
Citizenship and a Visa for Permanent Residence in Australia.
