Benoit, M.A.,
B.Sc. (Hons) is currently designing an open source game with Software
Libra.
He was recently a Graduate Academic Assistant at the Centre for Applied
Ethics at University of British Columbia and a Research Assistant in
Operations and Logistics at University of British
Columbia.
His interests include cognitive & behavioral neuroscience, applied
ethics,
game design, decision science, risk analysis, and survey methodology.
James earned his Honors B.Sc. (with Distinction) in Integrated Science,
specializing in Physiology and Biopsychology at The University of
British
Columbia in 2009. His undergraduate thesis tested a behavioral model of
cognitive effort in rats. He is currently finishing his M.A. in
Interdisciplinary Studies, examining whether video games should be
legislatively regulated works.
