Jon H.
Pittman, MS, MBA
is VP Corporate Strategy at Autodesk, Faculty at Singularity University,
Lecturer at Haas School of Business, and
Command Pilot at
Angel Flight West.
Angel Flight West provides free transportation to medical treatment for
people who cannot afford public transportation, or who cannot tolerate
it for health reasons.
Jon is responsible for enhancing Autodesk’s business with strategic
programs to develop emerging markets and enhance profitable growth.
He works closely with the Worldwide Education Team to ensure that
Autodesk is supporting educators in preparing the next generation design
professionals. This includes leading strategic partnerships with
institutions in India, China, and Russia.
With more than 28 years of experience in the computer-aided design,
computer graphics, and internet industries, Jon has held a variety
of business development, product development, and strategy positions at
Autodesk.
Prior to his work in technology companies, he was an assistant
professor at Cornell University’s Program of Computer Graphics and an
instructor in user interface design at Art Center College of
Design.

Jon earned his B. Arch. in Architecture at the
University of Cincinnati in 1980, his MS in Computer Graphics at
Cornell University in 1982, and his MBA in Marketing and Finance at
the University of Cincinnati College of Business in 1995.
