Richard M. David
Richard M. David has actively tracked the commercial space (or
“NewSpace”) sector
for over 11 years. He was
fortunate enough to attend the experimental test launch of
WhiteKnightOne / SpaceShipOne in June of 2004 in Mojave, and attended
both
elementary and high school with Dennis Tito’s two sons in Los Angeles.
His interest in space, however, was most influenced by his late uncle,
Dr. Jack Cherne, who among
other things, worked as a project engineer on the Apollo moon missions.
Today, Richard serves as CEO and Co-founder of NewSpace Global, LLC, an
information service provider that provides the domestic and
international investment sector detailed, current, and relevant analysis
of potential investment and business opportunities in the NewSpace
industry.
Prior to working as an investment fund attorney for a large,
international law firm in London and New York, Richard earned his B.A.
in English (summa cum laude) at University of California, Santa Barbara
(UCSB) and his J.D. at the University of California, Berkeley School of
Law, where he served as an External Relations Editor for the Berkeley
Technology and Law Journal (BTLJ).
Richard recently appeared on Fox News and Channel 12 (New York) and was
interviewed by Space News.
